Manage Goals and Tasks

Use the Goals tab to organize work and the Highlight to keep one next action visible.

How work is organized

A Goal is the outcome. A Goal contains finite Projects, and Projects contain completable Tasks. Tasks can have one level of Subtasks.

Use the Goals tab

Open a Goal to view its Projects and Tasks.
Use New project, New task, or New subtask to add work.
Tap a Task or Subtask to complete it.
Long-press an item to rename it, set a due date where available, or delete it.

Active Goals

The Goals tab exposes three direct Goal slots. Bee can create more on an explicit request, up to the server limit of seven Active Goals.

Three is the healthy range

Goals beyond three can add Brain Fatigue to the Hive economy.

Highlight

Your Highlight is one time-boxed pointer to the work that matters now. The editable Highlight preview is part of first-time Hive setup. It clears when completed or when its time window ends.
